The fact that there is much less competition in the mailbox today is a great point. Email marketing may be less costly, but it’s also more difficult to get noticed. Inboxes are flooded with offers and most are deleted without a glance. People check their actual mailbox everyday and if your offer looks interesting they will pay attention to it.
Thanks Steve! It’s all about the ROI. Email may not always be the best choice alone. If you combine with direct mail you get a vast improvement in your responce.
